Does Arc work for commercial projects as well as residential?

Yes. Arc runs custom-home, commercial, and production work on one platform. Each project carries its own posture, so terminology, modules, and billing defaults adapt per project and a company doing both residential and commercial work manages everything in one account.

Does Arc integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. Arc includes two-way QuickBooks integration with support for Classes, and no separate subscription is required. Soon, we will also launch support for Projects.

How does payment processing work?

Arc uses Stripe to process credit card and ACH payments. Credit card fees are 2.9% + $0.30, and ACH is 0.8% capped at $5. Fees are passed to the client on the invoice and automatically retained by Stripe, so there's nothing to reconcile on your end.

What reporting is available?

Arc includes a full reporting suite covering AR, AP, draws, forecasts, schedule health, and payment ledgers. Custom reports are also available if you need to track a specific metric.

Is there a limit to how many projects we can have active at once?

No. There's no cap on active projects.

Is there a limit on document storage?

Accepted Answer

No. Document storage is unlimited on every plan — drawings, revisions, photos, videos, contracts, and closeout packages all live in Arc with no storage tier, no per-gigabyte overage, and no auto-archiving. It replaces the separate Drive or Dropbox subscription most builders are paying for alongside their project software, and it means the files sit next to the project they belong to instead of in a folder tree nobody maintains.

Does Arc work for different contract types?

Yes. The financial management tools are adaptable whether you work fixed price, cost plus, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus GMP, or time and materials.

Can I brand Arc with my company info?

Yes. Estimates, invoices, portals, and automated emails can all be branded with your logo and company information.

Can I control what clients and subs see in their portals?

Yes. You have full control over what each client or vendor can and cannot access through their portal.

Do clients need to create an account to access their portal?

Not necessarily. Clients can create a password-protected account, or you can generate a private link they can bookmark for easy access without logging in.

Can subs submit bids through Arc?

Yes. You can set up bidding portals that allow subcontractors to send estimates in for a specific job.

Yes. We offer sandbox demos you can trial for a full week while you decide if Arc is the right fit for your business.

Arc Residential and Arc Commercial are month-to-month. No term commitment, no lock-in, and you can cancel anytime. Arc Production is structured as an annual agreement, since the production suite is set up around communities and a full year of starts and closings.
